Brief project presentation
In this project, 3D measurement was not just a tool, but the foundation of the entire process—from the initial spatial analysis to the final execution. In an exceptionally complex interior, defined by large heights, slopes, and irregular geometries, precise measurement became a crucial prerequisite for the successful realization of an industrial-style suspended steel ceiling.
Thanks to the 3D approach, a complete understanding of the space was achieved, along with reliable preparation of the structure. This eliminated room for error and established a clear framework for precise, controlled, and flawless execution.
Project challenges
The project of executing a suspended steel ceiling for a private investor involved an exceptionally demanding space, characterized by significant height, sloped ceilings, lintels, as well as irregular and complex wall surfaces.
Due to these conditions, conventional measurement methods could not ensure the required level of precision. Particular challenges included the angles of the sloped ceilings, inclinations, and the spatial relationships between the walls and the planned structure—where even the smallest error could result in problems during production and installation.
Solution
To ensure maximum precision, the space was measured using the Flexijet 3D system. This approach enabled detailed and accurate collection of all relevant spatial data, including complex geometries that cannot be reliably measured using conventional methods.
Based on the collected data, Studio Element carried out the complete 3D design and technical preparation. In this phase, all key elements of the structure were defined:
- precise angles and inclinations,
- relationships between walls and ceiling,
- joints and construction details,
- potential execution challenges.

Execution
Articus was responsible for the measurement, fabrication, and installation of the structure. Thanks to the precise 3D measurement and detailed technical preparation, the construction was manufactured in the workshop exactly according to the design, without the need for subsequent adjustments.
On-site installation was carried out smoothly and without unforeseen issues, despite the complexity of the space.
