
Short project presentation
This article demonstrates the process of measurement and technical preparation for creating treads for a circular staircase using advanced Flexijet technology. Due to the specific position of the staircase, traditional methods would require the creation of templates, but with the use of the Flexijet device and MegaTISCHLERpro software, this process is significantly accelerated and simplified.
Detailed case review
In this project, the task was to measure the metal structure and walls to create treads for a circular staircase. Due to the complexity of the space itself, the traditional method of measurement would not have been efficient or accurate enough. In that case, the client would have been forced to create templates for measurement, which would have further prolonged and complicated the process. However, by using the Flexijet device in combination with the MegaTISCHLERpro software, we were able to shorten the entire procedure, making it more efficient and precise.
Implementation time: Conventional method vs. Flexijet
Conventional method:
- Detailed measurement of the structure and walls, along with the creation of templates, would typically require a full working day. This includes the use of various tools and equipment such as ladders, scaffolding, laser levels, and materials for making templates.
Flexijet method:
- Measuring the space using the Flexijet device took only 1 hour. All data was automatically transferred to the CAD system, allowing for the immediate start of technical preparation and the creation of the CNC program for processing the treads. The total time required for technical preparation and creating the CNC program was an additional 2 hours.

Time savings and additional benefits
By using Flexijet technology, we saved approximately 5 hours compared to conventional methods. In addition to saving time, additional benefits include:
- Perfect precision: Flexijet allows for accurate measurement of angles, heights, and curves, resulting in high precision during fabrication.
- Lower costs: There was no need for additional expenses for materials required to create templates, nor for tools and equipment such as ladders, scaffolding, and laser levels.
- Simplicity and convenience: The entire process was completed using only a laptop and the Flexijet device, eliminating the need for additional equipment.
